Coolangatta YHA Backpackers Bed and Breakfast

Coolangatta YHA Backpackers is a 40 minute drive north of Byron Bay, just over the Queensland border. They are only a five minute walk from the Gold Coast Airport and 150 metres from the beach.

It is an ideal springboard for your Gold Coast activities, enjoy a stroll along the beach, and take a tour to the spectacular hinterlands featuring tropical rainforests, waterfalls, rock pools and many nature walks. Visit Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and hand feed a kangaroo, have your photograph taken with a koala or take an exciting "wild night tour". Coolangatta "Superbank" is the home of the WCT Quiksilver/ Roxy Pro's and has some of the best waves in
Australia. Whale watching is available from June to October.

The famous Gold Coast theme parks are only a 30 to 40 minute drive away. For the more adventurous try a tandem skydive, surf lessons, scuba dive or ocean kayaking. Coolangatta has something for everyone.
