Molendinar
Molendinar is a small, mainly industrial precinct of the Gold Coast, located south-west of Southport.
Molendinar is becoming popular with first home buyers in the Gold Coast region. Molendinar is more affordable and yet it is still close to Surfers Paradise, and major shopping centres. It is also home to the second largest daily newspaper in Australia - the Gold Coast Bulletin
In 1969 the Gold Coast City Council began the first stage of commercial development of the Molendinar Industrial Estate. Since then, the suburb has become a centre for industry on the Gold Coast.
Harbour Town Shopping Centre is only a 10-minute drive away and has a number of brand name fashion factory outlets.
