Molendinar is located just north of Ashmore. The area is mostly a residential area. A small area of the suburb supports light industrial and manufacturing industries.
The area is a mix of new and older housing estates. Crestwood Heights is a newer estate in the area and is family friendly as it is in close proximity to facilities and services.
Harbour Town Shopping Centre is only a 10-minute drive away where you can shop for brand names at bargain prices.
Molendinar is home to the second largest daily newspaper in Australia - the Gold Coast Bulletin.
Surfers Paradise and Gold Coast attractions are easily accessible by car or public transport, with local buses servicing the area. The nearest rail stations are about a 10-minute drive at Nerang and Helensvale for travel to Brisbane.
RACV Royal Pines Golf Resort and Spa is a 10-minute drive from Molendinar and is the home of the golf event ANZ Ladies Masters.
