Tallebudgera Valley
Tallebudgera Valley terminates at the foothills of the McPherson Range. The valley has a long history of cedar getting, banana plantations and dairy farming.
Winding roads follow the Tallebudgera Creek and its tributaries crossing at low level bridges.
Tallebudgera Creek is a large creek on the Gold Coast which runs from Springbrook Plateau in the west through Tallebudgera Valley to the southern slopes of Burleigh Mountain at Burleigh Heads and the Pacific Ocean in the east.
The creek is not just good for fishing, but surfing too. It is a popular meeting place for local surfers.
The Tallebudgera Creek Dam was constructed on the creek in the 1950s.
