Yatala
Yatala is a suburb in the outer northern areas of the Gold Coast. Surrounding suburbs of Yatala include Beenleigh, Windaroo, and Stapylton.
Yatala is home to Yatala Pies which are a famous restaurant that has been in business for 60 years. Stopping to buy a Yatala Pie has become something of a ritual for people traveling on the busy Pacific Motorway.

On the Albert River, just downstream from Yatala, is the Beenleigh Rum Distillery. The distillery was founded in 1884 and is today, Australia’s oldest registered distiller.
